Our top questions to ask when booking a mobile bar:

If you are already charging us to book you, why do we have to pay for your travel?

Our answer – Not us! We believe in charging fair prices and are confident you will want to recommend us to your friends. If you’re already paying us to show up and for the amazing drinks we serve then why would we charge you for our travel!? We’ll look after any events within 200 miles of Edinburgh!

Our answer – We don’t have a minimum spend for our events! Our aim is to make sure you have the very best time with minimal stress. Why have the extra worry of potentially owing your bar provider money after your event is finished? If you do choose to put some money behind the bar or buy the first round then no problem! Our multiple “iZettle” till systems make this as well as contactless payments for the rest of the night easy!

Our answer – Anything from intimate garden parties to weddings of 300+ people. Our mobile bar is bigger than any “horsebox” bar & has the range of drinks to match. We are passionate about serving the very best craft drinks so please get in touch to find out more!

Our answer – Absolutely! Wine & soft drinks to go with your meal, draft beer and a huge range of spirits & craft mixers and much more are absolutely no problem at all! We’re happy to serve from The Tow Bar all night or set up a pop up bar indoors as well! Check out our Instagram page for drinks inspiration!

Our answer – Yes! This is something we’re passionate about. We use compostable vegware glassware, napkins, food prep gloves and sustainably sourced firewood for our fire pit!

Our answer – Absolutely! Our background in the craft drinks import and distribution industry means we probably already know the people who make the drinks you’re looking for!

Our answer – Yes! We have a top of the range “Lindr” draft beer dispenser, capable of serving 155 pints of 2 different beers or ciders at the same time! We love talking beer and would be delighted to talk with you about some craft beers we think would work best! We can also serve a range of bottled and canned craft beers – just ask!

Our answer – All Tow Bar staff are experienced & trained events professionals. We proudly pay our staff above the living wage & our team keeps 100% of their tips. We also pay our staff for their travel time to and from our events as well as covering taxis home at the end of the night. We take pride in looking after the people looking after your special day!

Our answer – Our clever internal plumbing system and own powerful generator makes us truly mobile. Unlike many bars which need a constant power & water supply we can pop up in the most remote of locations. Getting married in a field? No problem! We can also hook up to your venue’s water and power supplies in a matter of seconds!

Our answer – Yes! We designed & hand built The Tow Bar ourselves. Our neutral design & colour scheme means you can decorate the bar to match the rest of your big day! We always bring along a plenty of fairy lights and the rest is up to you!
